Firstly, hello and welcome to my website and blog!
My name is Molina Marshall and I am a London based Physiotherapist with a background in Yoga and Clinical Pilates. I have recently leaped into the world of Vlogging and I have created this space to be an educational adjunct to my Vlog. You can expect a variety of content from rehab specific exercises, to wellness tips and 'How to' posts.
My ethos is that for a healthy body we need a healthy mind, and for a healthy mind we need a healthy body. I therefore take a very holistic approach to my clients and content.
Prior to graduating as a Physiotherapist in the start of 2016 I had 5 years experience working in the fitness industry as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Coming out of this sector I have taken a step away from the diet and body image centred culture surrounding the fitness world and instead migrated towards a wellness approach where psychological and physiological wellbeing is of equal importance.
I have three years experience of working in the NHS where I now have a senior role as a Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Physiotherapist, 2 years experience of working with corporate wellbeing and I have previously worked with both Rugby and Football teams. The diversity of these settings has helped to develop an approach which is inclusive and accessible to everyone, whether they're an athlete or bedridden in hospital. Wellbeing should be available to everyone, regardless of physical ability, income or psychological wellbeing.
I wanted to create a platform where everyone could access yoga, pilates and wellbeing for free. This is then reason why I created my YouTube channel which you can access here. I update my channel every Wednesday with a new video.
